Alternation – Episode 3: No, You’re stupid!

“It’s your turn to set the table,” said the girl with the red hair

“But I did it last time!” said the boy, angrily.

“Well, it’s not my turn because I already helped mom with cutting the onions.” said the girl in a confident yet patronizing tone, with a little bit smirk in her face.

“NO! IT’S NOT FAIR!!!”

“Lily, Al, stop it, now! Albus, it’s your turn, your sister has already helped”

“But Moo.….m!”

“Do you want to be grounded like your brother!”

“FINE!”

The mother, Ginny, was almost finished with her meatballs but the kids continue to yell at each other. The only thing she can do right now was to ignore them. The dinner won’t finish itself if she kept yelling back at the children.

“Uncle Ron!” the children shouted aloud.

“Oh, thank you for coming! Is it okay with your kids?”

“Don’t worry! They’re with their grandpa and grandma” said Ron while he took a seat next to the children.

“Oh yeah, how’s mum and dad”

They talked a bit about the situation at their home. Ron moved back into their parents’ home after his father retired. It’s also good that they also get to meet their grandchild more.

“So, where’s Harry and James?” asked Ron, looking for his eldest nephew.

“Dad’s still at work and James is grounded because he’s having sex,” said Albus, probably not knowing what that means.

“Albus! Just finish setting up the table!”

“Wait, but I thought you did it at the same age as –”

“Oh, not you too Ronald! And not in front of the children! Btw, how’s work!”

“It’s fine, I’m taking it easy as always. So, Harry’s working late again, huh! He’s such a workaholic” said Ron. Ginny ignored him and just continue making the meatball “Just like my wife.”

“I want to be a policewoman like Aunt Hermione when I grow up,” said Lilly

“How about you Al? What do you want to be when you grow up?” asked Uncle Ron.

“I want to be a scientist and invent the time machine”. Albus answered the question

“Time traveling doesn’t make sense, it’s stupid!”

“You’re stupid”

“NO, YOU’RE STUPID”

“Please no more fighting!” Ginny said while delivering the meatball to the dining table. But the kids keep fighting.

“Listen to your mom!” Ron asked gently. The children stopped the fighting. They each grab the meatball from the servings and start eating.

“Okay, I’m going now!” said Ginny, proceeding to leave the room.

“You’re not going to stay and eat? Do I need to drive you there?”

“No, you stay here with the children, I’m almost late to my appointment”. Ginny answered in hurry.

“Well, let me say goodbye to my little nephew first”

Ron stood up from his chair and approach Ginny before she leaves the door.

“Goodbye, my little guy.” Said Ron to Ginny’s pregnant belly. “Have you guys named him yet, oh let me guess, it’s dobby”

“Oh shut up Ron, I’m in a hurry, bye! Children, be good to your uncle! Oh, and Ron, would you please deliver a serving of that meatball to James.” She left the room grabbing her car and left.

“Now that your mother left, let’s bust your brother out,” said Ron to the children.

He went upstairs where James room is.

“James, your moms are out already, it’s okay to go out now,” said Ron after knocking the door.

There’s no answer. Ron became worried for a couple seconds but he thought he must be sleeping.

But, teenagers won’t sleep this soon, there must be something wrong. He thought. SO he opened the door and discover that he’s no longer in his room.

Alternation – Ep 2: Embarassing Situation

Zidane’s eye and Garnet’s eye met together. His hand touched her cheek and while guiding her face closer as he leaned forward for a kiss. He kissed her slowly and gently. Zidane removed his clothes and garnet help him. And then they kissed again once or twice while undressing garnet’s jacket. This is not the first time they had sex, even though they were still a teenager the passion still fulfill their excitement.

And that’s when Queen Brahne— or that’s what she wanted everyone to call her— walked in on their intimate affairs. Fortunately, no one have been fully undressed yet so there’s no need to cover anything up. Still an embarrassing moment but there’s worst thing that could happen.

“Mom! Can’t you knock first?” Garnet yelled with a lot of anger.

“Hi Mrs. Alexandros!” said Zidane politely while concealing his embarrassment.

“Get out now mom! Can’t you see what—”

“But this is such an urgent matter” Brahne interrupted her.

“Can’t you do it later?”

“Urgent, means now.” Brahne yelled at her. Ever since she was back into Garnet’s life, Brahne never yelled at her. So Garnet stop for a minute.

After Garnet’s father died, Brahne had been a terrible mother for Garnet. The sadness made her mad. Especially since Garnet’s father leave the whole inheritance, Brahne feel betrayed. At some point she stole some of the inheritance money and left Garnet alone. Then her distance uncle Cid became her guardian and the rest of garnet’s childhood was spent with him and her cousin Rikku.

“You don’t get to come back into my life, yelling at me and.. and.. aaargh”

Zidane just stayed sitting while watching Garnet pushed her mother out of the door. She locked the door ferousiously, even and after several seconds of silence, it’s clear that Brahne had probably was leaving them both alone.

“So, where were we?” said Zidane.

They didn’t waste any time and go back to bed to continue.

Alternation – Ep 1: Two Graveyards

It was foggy Sunday morning in the graveyard, Henry and his children are visiting their mom. The youngest children were Henry’s only son Edward or Eddy, a toddler with blonde hair, just like her mother’s. The middle one was Elizabeth or Elle, the one with red hair like his father’s and the oldest is Mary the brunette.

“This is not how I imagine spending my entire weekend!” Said Elle while folding her hands. No one seem to notice her but that’s what she expected when she said it in a soft way. She didn’t want to be noticed saying that in front of her mother’s graveyard. She didn’t want anyone to know that she’s only here just to pass by and they’re originally just wanted to visit the lake and the graveyard was just nearby.

In this graveyard, the Tudor have their own spot for their family. Although there are currently only two gravestones in this spot. Eddy’s mother’s grave was on the left, her name was Jane and she just died recently of a long sickness soon after Eddy’s birth. Gravestone for Elle’s mother was the other one, and just like Eddy she also died of sickness after Elle’s birth.

Why is she even here? Elle wondered on his mind.

Unlike the other two children Mary’s mother was still alive and after the divorce she won the custody so Mary lived with her now. Henry wanted the kids to get along with her elder sister so he brought her along to this vacation. Elle thought this was just going to be the regular family vacation. If it weren’t for Mary coming along, she would’ve probably been in a good mood.

Even though Elle seems not to enjoy the visit, Eddy seem to like it. Even though this is a graveyard, he had been oddly ecstatic since they arrived. It’s probably because every time Henry keep telling him that he’s about to meet his mother. Or maybe it’s just the scenery, it’s hard to know what a toddler thinks as teddy still haven’t learned to talk yet.

“Okay, before we go, say goodbye to your mothers” Henry said.

“Mothers? No! She’s not my mother!” Elizabeth yelled. She walked awya with anger, she couldn’t do it anymore. It used to be her and his father alone visiting his mother’s graveyard together. Now she had to share this moment with everyone.

This is episode 1 of Alternation which is a neighbourhood rotation story which I alternate a story from one neighbourhood to another in one save file. Most of the people and story here are from either fictional or historical figures so you probably will recognise a lot of character.

This is the first story so let me know what you think. Since any type of feedback are welcome. I wanted to improve my writing.
